The Winter Market at Horsefeathers, located at 346 Connecticut St. on Buffalo’s West Side, continues its successful run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through May 4.  

The market offers a wide variety of local food vendors selling everything from bread, spices, cheese, coffee, biscotti, cupcakes, cookies and eggs to vegetables, fruits, pasta,  salsa, dumplings, meat and wine. Customers will also find homemade soaps, all-natural dog treats and much more. Representatives of the Wellness Institute of Greater Buffalo will be on hand this Saturday, April 20, with plenty of helpful health information.

Whether you’re on Elmwood, Delaware or Hertel or cater to patrons in Riverside, South Buffalo or the Eastside, the Taste of Buffalo presented by TOPS is encouraging you to apply to participate July 13 and 14. This summer marks the festival’s 30th birthday celebration. Created in 1984 to support and promote downtown and showcase Buffalo’s fabulous food scene, the Taste looks to make this year the best one yet and festival organizers look forward to the participation of more City of Buffalo restaurants.

“In honor of our 30th birthday, we want to celebrate the City of Buffalo and our region’s favorite and up and coming restaurants with guests who come from across the region to attend the event,” said Joe Lane, 2013 Taste chairman. “If your restaurant has been a part of the event in the past or you are looking to participate in your first Taste, we encourage you to apply by February 28.”
