City to Begin Work on Six Bridges; Expect Possible Delays

BUFFALO, NY-Buffalo's Public Works Department announced Monday work is underway to repair expansion joints on six bridges.

Work is already underway on the Lincoln Parkway bridge that crosses over Scajaquada Creek in Delaware Park. Repairs on the following bridges will take place over the next four months:

-Seneca St. over the Buffalo River at Elk St.

-Seneca St. over the railroad just east of Smith St.

-Bailey Ave. over the railroad north of Broadway

-Bailey Ave. over the railroad south of Broadway

-Amherst St. at Starin over the railroad

Traffic will be allowed to flow at each of these work zones, however parking and lane restrictions will be posted as necessary.
