Buffalo's Super Bowl Connection | News
BUFFALO, NY - This Sunday, the Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans.
When the teams take the field, Corey Graham, who played football for the now closed Turner-Carroll High School on Buffalo's east side, will be dressed up in his Baltimore Ravens uniform ready for battle. If he listens hard enough, he will probably be able to hear the cheers coming from a local hall where his friends and family will gather to cheer him on.
When his brother takes the field wearing #24 in New Orleans Sunday as the Ravens starting cornerback, Michael Clark will be filled with goose bumps!

Corey was a star athlete at Turner, winning trophies in track and basketball. But it was on the football field where Corey really excelled. As a pro it hasn't always been easy. A few years ago, Corey was a pro bowl special teams player looking for a spot on defense.
His brother Michael told us, "It's so rewarding to see him continue to work and get it because at every level he was overlooked, someone else, but he worked hard and rose to the top."
Now Corey is on top of the world, playing with the elite athletes he always cheered for as a kid. But his brother Michael says despite his success, he's still a Buffalo boy through and through.
"He recognizes the struggle around here and that's embedded in him. The way he grew up and hardships, he carries that on his sleeve, he has the blue collar attitude all the time."
Michael even read a recent article about his brother where Ravens Coach John Harbaugh mentioned how great it is to have a guy of Corey's character in the locker room.
Corey is now 27-years-old and a decade away from his Turner Carroll memories, financially well off, married, and the father of two children. But Michael says he's the same old Corey with the core values their grandmother instilled in them.
"No matter what the situation or the cards you are dealt with, you go out there and conduct yourself as a man and respect others and you get it back."
