Response to Love Center Reaches Goal for Boiler Repairs | News

BUFFALO, NY-- We have some great news to report regarding the boiler problem at the Response to Love Center on Buffalo's East Side.

Staffers at the center say so many generous people came forward after seeing our stories here on Channel 2 that they have now exceeded their goal of $50,000 in contributions to help replace parts in the heating system.

2 On Your Side first told you about the broken boiler the day before Thanksgiving.  The new figure of $63,653 was reached with contributions that came in Wednesday.

Some of the excess funds will also be used to help with possible chimney and radiator repairs.
