Greater Buffalo Chapter To Wrap Up "Red Cross Month" With Free Citizens CPR Training

In honor of Red Cross Month, the Greater Buffalo Chapter will be offering two free, one-hour Citizens CPR training programs on Thursday, March 31st.  This Hands-Only CPR does not require mouth-to-mouth breathing, and is intended to help people who don’t require CPR certification to be prepared to assist in an emergency situation.  Certified instructors will show students the steps they would need to take to assist someone having a heart attack until trained personnel arrive.  These free courses are part of an American Red Cross initiative to train five million people in Citizens CPR over the next year.
