No Frills Buffalo Releases Two Books, Forms New Partnership

No Frills Buffalo, a publishing company founded by Buffalo native Mark Pogodzinski, has released two new books and formed a partnership with a literary agent to offer critiques and reviews.

“Of Darkness and Deathless” was penned by Hamburg resident Timothy Monahan. The book tells the story of 14-year-old Preston Scott, who felt he was never loved by his father, Dr. Samuel Fox. At least, that is what Preston believes as he attends his father’s wake in September 1939. The teenager has spent his entire life living in his father’s shadow, desperately seeking answer to his mother’s mysterious disappearance. And now that his father lies in a coffin, Preston is convinced that his quest for the truth will be buried along with his pain and sorrow.

In an unexpected turn of events, Preston’s search is given new life. As he edges closer to the truth, he uncovers a sinister plan that will turn his entire world upside down. He learns that his mother’s story will change the course of history forever, and that death is never the end.

No Frills Buffalo is also pleased to announce the release “Water From a Toad” by Buffalo resident Frederick E. Whitehead. No Frills also published Whitehead’s previous book of poetry, titled “Orbs.”

Whitehead currently serves as host and organizer of the 4th Friday Poetry Series at Dog Ears Bookstore, 688 Abbott Road, in Whitehead’s South Buffalo neighborhood.

No Frills Buffalo has also formed a partnership with literary agent Natalie Rodriguez of Global Lion Intellectual Property Management to offer professional critiques and reviews. Writers interested in a review of their work should visit the No Frills Buffalo website for additional information.
